Go to the Tokyo Met. Gov't building when you're in Tokyo,
and go to Sky Garden in the Landmark Tower when you're in Yokohama!
The sprawling sight from the skyscrapers in and around Tokyo to
Mt.Fuji gives you a 360 degrees panolama. You can also enjoy the modern exterior
of the building.
The elevator (take the J elevator) brings you to the 45F which
is 202m above the ground in 55 seconds. There are two obsevation decks, South
and North.

North is opened only on weekends.
The obsevation deck is
very spacious and clean,
There is a sourvenir shop and a cafe with reasonable
price inside.
Eating/drinking outside of the cafe and using camera tripods are not allowed.
Access: 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station.
Go first down to B1 of the No.1 building, then take J elevator
(straight to the South observation deck).
I elevator is to the North observation deck.

Tokyo Tower

Charge: There are 2 different observation decks
with different prices;
*the 150m high observation deck - 820 yen for adults
*the 250m high special observation deck
- 600 yen for adutls(including tax)
*The ticket to the higher observation deck is sold
on the floor of the lower observation deck.
Tokyo Tower is a popular symbol of Tokyo.
It actually looks
a little bit like the Eiffel Tower.
This 333m-high steel tower is the world highest. Don't forget to go see the souvenir shops on the first, second floors and wax figure museums.
Access: 6-8 minutes walk from Kamiyacho(Hibiya line), Onarimon
or Shibako-en(Toei Mita line), Daimon(Toei Asakusa line) stations.

Inside of the elevator

This area was developed in 1996 as a coastal subcenter
city of Tokyo in Tokyo Bay.
It has become a famous and popular spot to play and visit. There are shopping
malls,
amusement parks, hotels and a big exhibition hall.
A new big entertaiment complex (town) will be opened in 2000(Aqua City Odaiba).

The unique exterior of this building can be seen from the
train.
The globe shaped observation deck 100m above from the ground gives you
a view around the Odaiba area. There is also a roof garden.
Odaiba Kaihin Park
In the daytime, you can enjoy marine sports and then in
the evening, You can enjoy the Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, Takeshiba Pier which are
beautifully lit up at dusk. There is a marine house which has coin lockers,
showers and a boat washing place.
Access: 4 minutes walk from Daiba station (New transit
Yurikamome line).

Free use of a telescope
and a computer to browse thier site about Raimbow Town.

Dai Kanransha (Big Ferris Wheel)
You can enjoy the spreading view of the water front
in Odaiba from
the compartment of the Guinness-level "Big Ferris Wheel(115m above the ground)"
and the illumination outside. It had been Guinness level only for less a year.
A bigger one "London Eye" in London was opened(135m above the ground)!
Access: Near Aomi station (New transit Yurikamome line),
it is a part of an entertainment complex "Palette Town".
